The D-100 Framework

Two frameworks, one research standard

The D-100 answers one question with discipline: has this asset actually been adopted, or has it merely been discussed? Every criterion is scored 1–5 on primary source evidence only — regulatory filings, on-chain records, audit reports, and published agreements. Price action, social following, and undeployed roadmap items never count.

The D-100 deliberately excludes tokenomics from its scoring, because adoption and token design are different questions and conflating them produces muddled scores. Part II introduces the T-45 as the dedicated, price-agnostic answer to the second question — and Part III shows how to read the gap between the two scores, which is often the most useful analytical output of running both.

Once you have read it, put it to work: run an asset through the D-100 Diagnostic to score adoption across the four pillars, then run the same asset through the T-45 Calculator to grade its token economics.

The Five Pillar Taxonomy

Before an asset is scored, it must be placed. Each scored pillar carries eight criteria and a maximum of 40 points. Macro is not a scored pillar — it is an elevation, earned when an asset scores 28 or more points across three or more of the four scored pillars simultaneously.
